Guided Float Trips on The Bighorn River

Our Guides are some of the most experienced and active on the river. All our guides are full time Bighorn River Guides, we do not hire hobby guides or part time guides. Each guide utilizes a Mackenzie style Drift Boat for use with all trips. The type of fishing your guide employs will be determined by your skill level, wading ability, and expectations for your trip.

Before each day you and your guide will discuss the conditions, situations, and your preferences to come up with a plan to make your time on the Bighorn River as enjoyable and productive as possible. Our guides pick you up at our location in Fort Smith, Montana and most trips begin around 7:30 AM. You are treated to a full day on the river and you will be dropped off back in Fort Smith around 5:30 PM. These are very approximate times and your preferences and the current conditions can shift the fishing hours. We send you with lunches prepared by our restaurant staff and we make sure everyone is well taken care of.

There are no time constraints on our guides because of our restaurant being open for long hours. We understand that a 7PM dinner time at the lodge does not allow our guides to keep you out in some of the peak times of the day so we accommodate you because Fishing Comes First in Fort Smith!
